Abstract

A brief conclusion finally wraps up the defence of a post-antihermeneutic culture concept. Interviews with leading Dutch scholars in the field of cultural analysis are used as illustrative examples to put these considerations to the test. A final conclusion is that just like culture itself must be fluid and transient in order to fill its mission in life and society, this also applies to the discussion of the concept of culture. This continued dialogue is no sign of weakness but a necessary condition to keep the concept itself alive.
