Logic and language of science

Abstract
Looking back at the various problems studied in this book, one conclusion at least is evident, that the epistemological structure of modern physical science is one of extraordinary complexity. Physical science in the form with which we are familier was understandably a late arrival on the historical scene, so late in fact that the beginning of the scientific movement coincides with what historians call modern times.
