Hans Albert between Popper and Gadamer

Dario Antiseri

pp. 29-33

Abstract

I agree with Hans Albert on many topics. I have always admired his intellectual courage, the clarity of his works, the relevance of the issues he debates. I have learned from him and I tried to spread his (as well as Popper's) thought in Italy as well as I could (Antiseri 2007). Those were the years—the early seventies and some time after that—when criticizing Marx or the Frankfurt scholars, whose works had become standard bibliography for most masters in philosophy, was sanctioned as lèse-majesté.
