a practical example

S. M. Brown

pp. 201-206

Abstract

Major upheavals in world agriculture, interacting with rapid changes in national policies and technology, are making the role of agricultural research dynamic and uncertain. In UK, the Agriculture and Food Research Council (AFRC) looked for new and/or joint research initiatives. A first project was set up with the Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC), namely, a study of changes in UK agriculture, reasons for these and likely consequences.
