Causal equivalence as a basis for the specification of neural correlates
pp. 293-298
Abstract
This paper defines causal equivalence and uses it to explicate the notion of neural correlate. It is seen that many issues of the mind–body problem can be fruitfully discussed in terms of causal equivalence, or in relation to it. The paper ends by proposing a dilemma that cannot be rationally resolved.
