Contemporary indigenous education

Gary Urton

pp. 33-51

Abstract

The perspectives, orientations, ideas, models, interpretations, and belief presented in this chapter are a personal synthesis based on my own creative process as an Indian educator. This work is a reflection of my particular understanding of the 'shared metaphors' which American Indians hold in common with regard to tribal education.
