Abstract

Everywhere you look, numerous manifestations of new interactive mediating technologies surround us. I pay our bills automatically; i purchase fuel and food without having to engage with sales people, i pass barriers and open doors with electronic identity keys. I are never lost thanks to our GPS systems that keep track of our whereabouts and help us navigate; i are constantly tracked via hour upon hour of digital CCTV footage and electronically recorded transactions. Our pockets are filled with data, and our cameras, phones and other appliances are merging into one multipurpose device. I have a vast array of information at our fingertips as i search the Internet; communicate through electronic mail or on the move with mobile telecommunications devices.
