pp. 511-517

Abstract

Animal Studies is a transdisciplinary field, which includes scholars with backgrounds in literary studies, sociology, biology, neuroscience, philosophy, and many other fields. This chapter gives a brief overview of the field and then demonstrates its relevance to radical theology through the work of Jacques Derrida, Donna Haraway, and others.
