Methodological and political issues in occupational health research

Michael Gliksman

pp. 16-23

Abstract

Occupational health research provides unique challenges which encompass political as well as methodological considerations. Problems related to the formulation and conduct of epidemiological health research in an industrial setting are largely political in nature. It follows that a satisfactory solution is dependent on an appreciation of the politics involved.
