Transzendentalphilosophie in der globalisierten Welt

Helmut Girndt

pp. n/a

Abstract

In this paper the author argues for a real globalisation in philosophy in terms of conceiving and recognising the universality of transcendental philosophical knowledge. This universality can only be grasped by recovering and integrating the legacy of Oriental Philosophy in the tradition of transcendental philosophy. This proposal is based in the thesis, according to which Oriental philosophies, especially Advaita-Vedanta, Buddhism and Sufism, constitute the origins of the knowledge and/or wisdom western transcendental philosophy, especially Fichte, provides.
