Renovating the problem of politics

Bernard Dauenhauer

pp. 3-17

Abstract

Given the discoveries during the decade of the 80s of the depth and extent of Heidegger's involvement with the Nazis, Sokolowski's comment can now be seen to be strikingly mild.2 But these discoveries notwithstanding, one has no justification for regarding Heidegger's thought as wholly discredited. Even his thought about political matters remains of value.3
