Ethics in our time

Adriaan Peperzak

pp. 451-468

Abstract

The situation of contemporary ethics is a strange mixture of utilitarianism, Kantianism, antimoralism, relativism and a few attempts to renew Aristotelianism. In Anglosaxon philosophy utilitarianism seems to predominate, although some elements of deontology also are influential.
